Its presentation box is as carefully considered as the flacon. Made from heavy card stock, it is covered in white and trimmed in Dior’s celebrated dove grey, with a label matching the bottle’s own. The restrained pairing of white and grey gives the packaging a clean, almost couture-like elegance: fresh, calm, immaculate, and quietly expensive rather than flamboyant. Dove grey was a particular favorite of Christian Dior and was used in the interiors of the original Maison Dior boutique in Paris, where it appeared with white plaster moldings. In this small travel presentation, the colors connect a practical parfum flacon to the atmosphere of Dior’s early salon—an object meant to feel like a little piece of the house itself, carried away from Paris.
